Massive M25 Crash Sparks Chaos During Rush Hour
A nasty smash on the M25 near Junction 27 (M11) caused mayhem just before 4.40pm yesterday. Five cars and a van slammed into each other heading clockwise towards Junction 28 (Brook Street Roundabout, Brentwood).
Police believe a small Peugeot might be involved but fled the scene without stopping.
Injuries Reported as Ambulance Rushes to Scene
An ambulance raced to the crash site. A 22-year-old man was rushed to hospital with a suspected spinal injury. Another man was treated right there on the spot.
M25 Shut for Hours, Traffic Chaos Ensues
The motorway remained closed for hours while police combed through the wreckage. This caused severe disruption across the network, leaving drivers frustrated and stuck in heavy queues.
Police Hunt For Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage
Essex Police are urging anyone who drove through the area to check their dash cams. “If you saw what happened or captured footage, please preserve it and contact us,” they said.
