Donald Trump Rushed to Hospital Hours After COVID-19 Diagnosis
Shock news as US President Donald Trump is taken to hospital less than 24 hours after testing positive for COVID-19.
Mild Symptoms Quickly Escalate
Earlier today, Trump showed only ‘mild symptoms’ following his positive test. He and the First Lady entered quarantine late Wednesday.
Since then, Trump has been given a cocktail of drugs described by the White House as a ‘precautionary measure.’ Despite feeling ‘fatigued, but in good spirits,’ the situation has clearly escalated.
Precaution or Cause for Concern?
The president was transported to Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre. A White House spokesperson confirmed this move is a precaution.
“The president will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days,” the spokesperson said.
All eyes are now on Trump’s condition as he battles the virus inside a top military hospital.
