Schoolboy Seriously Injured in Brutal Attack at Berkshire School
Emergency crews rushed to Blessed Hugh Faringdon Roman Catholic School in Southcote at around 1pm today after a 12-year-old boy was found badly hurt on campus.
Air Ambulance Flies Boy to Hospital
The youngster was airlifted to John Radcliffe Hospital with serious injuries but is now in stable condition. Police believe he was assaulted and have launched a full investigation.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Officers remain at the school, speaking with staff and students. The school’s dedicated officer also paid a visit today to offer support.
Detectives want to hear from anyone who saw the attack or has mobile phone footage that could help the inquiry. They urge witnesses to call 101 immediately.
Support in Place as Investigation Continues
Authorities stressed they are taking the incident very seriously and are in the early stages of a thorough probe. Support is being provided to those affected at the school.
