Solihull School Heroes Smash 50KM Ultra, Raise £58k for Sri Lanka

‘Team Solihull’ – a gritty crew of 25 pupils, parents, and staff from Solihull School – took on a brutal 50KM Easter Ultra Challenge. Their mission? To raise cash for clean water wells in Sri Lanka’s poorest communities. And they didn’t just meet their goal – they smashed it, raking in a whopping £58,000.

Muddy Trek, Massive Effort

Led by Mark Penney, Head of Solihull Prep School, the team braved a muddy course on April 1. The gruelling challenge was part of the Action Ultra Challenge, starting from 123 Challenge and pushing their limits to walk 50KM in a single day.

Support a Life-Saving Cause

The incredible effort was backed by two charities: Assist RR UK and IMHO USA. Their donations will help bring safe clean water to those who need it most in Sri Lanka.
