A fierce fire broke out at a five-story hotel near London’s Paddington railway station, sparking panic and swift emergency action.
London Fire Brigade Rushes to Scene
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) was called at 4.41pm on Thursday to tackle flames engulfing half of the hotel’s ground floor on Craven Road. Thanks to their rapid response with ten fire engines, including a rescue unit and a towering 32-metre turntable ladder, the fire was brought under control by 6.39pm.
Neighbouring Buildings Evacuated, Roads Shut
To ensure public safety, nearby properties were evacuated. The Met Police arrived at 4.57pm to enforce road closures, urging everyone to avoid the area as investigations into the fire’s cause get underway.
No Injuries Reported Amid Drama
Officials confirmed there have been no injuries. The fire’s origins remain unknown, with inquiries ongoing.
