Gunpoint Train Robbery Sparks Manhunt

British Transport Police are chasing three brazen robbers who held a man at gunpoint on a train from Elmers End to Eden Park last Friday night.

Victim Forced Off Train at Gunpoint

The trio jumped on the 7.45pm train and zeroed in on their target. Two sat close — one right next to him, the other just behind. The man beside the victim demanded his phone and made him sign out. After several failed attempts locked the device, the thugs forced the man off at the next stop.

Robbers Wait for Victim to Unlock Phone, Then Vanish

The gang hung around until the victim finally logged back in. As soon as he was off the train at Eden Park station, he ran into a nearby restaurant to get help. The robbers vanished without a trace.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward

British Transport Police have released CCTV snaps of the suspects. They’re hunting these men who may hold key clues to cracking the case.
