Road Rage Attack in Eastbourne: Good Samaritans Sprayed with Mysterious Substance
Police are on the hunt after two men were doused with a strange liquid in Eastbourne following a road crash.
Crash Turns Nasty on St Anne’s Road
At 8.51am on Saturday, August 29, officers raced to St Anne’s Road after reports of a collision involving a black Renault Megane. When the driver got out, two Good Samaritans stepped in to help—only to have a liquid, believed to be ammonia, thrown straight in their faces.
Victims Injured but Stable
Both men are now receiving medical treatment. Fortunately, their injuries are thought to be minor, but police are taking the attack very seriously.
Suspect Flees, Police Launch Manhunt
The driver bolted before officers arrived. Detectives are investigating and working to trace the man responsible. Authorities have described the incident as isolated, with no wider threat to the public.
