A3(M) Shutdown in Hampshire After Serious Car and Motorbike Crash

The A3(M) in Hampshire is completely closed in both directions between Junction 2 (Dell Piece Interchange) and Junction 3 (Waterlooville Interchange) following a serious collision involving a car and a motorbike. Hampshire Police are leading the emergency response.

Follow These Crucial Diversions

Southbound detour:

  • Exit the A3(M) at Junction 2.
  • At the roundabout, take the third exit onto B2149 Dell Piece West.
  • Continue to the A3 portsmouth/" title="Portsmouth" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Portsmouth Road junction, turn left, and rejoin the A3.
  • Drive to the roundabout with B2150 Hulbert Road, take the first exit onto B2150.
  • Follow B2150 to Junction 3 of A3(M), then take the third exit to rejoin the motorway southbound.

Northbound detour:

  • Leave the A3(M) at Junction 3.
  • At the roundabout, take the first exit onto B2150 Hulbert Road.
  • At the next roundabout with the A3, take the second exit to stay on the A3.
  • Follow A3 to the B2149 (Dell Piece West) junction.
  • Turn right onto B2149 and continue to A3(M) Junction 2.
  • Take the first exit at the roundabout to rejoin the A3(M) northbound.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and expect delays as emergency services work through the night.
