Fatal Crash Involving Three Vehicles

Just after 8pm, West Midlands Police rushed to the junction of Kitt’s Green Road and Mackadown Lane following reports of a serious collision. The crash involved a BMW 4 Series, an MG ZS, and a quad bike.

Sadly, two passengers in the MG – a woman in her 40s and another in her 70s – were pronounced dead at the scene. Our thoughts are with their family and friends at this dark time.

Four others, including a child, were taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

The quad bike also escaped the scene. Police are hunting the rider, who is considered a key witness in piecing together what happened.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Detective Sergeant Julie Lyman said: “We urgently need to understand every detail of this tragic collision. We appeal directly to the quad bike rider to come forward as your account is vital.”
