RSPCA Investigates As Mowbray Education Trust Takes Action

Sarah Moulds, the teacher caught up in the scandal, was first suspended amid a formal investigation by the Mowbray Education Trust. The RSPCA also launched an inquiry. Now, the trust has confirmed they have dismissed her.

Paul Maddox, Chief Operating Officer of Mowbray Trust, said: “I can confirm that Sarah Moulds’ employment with the trust has been terminated.”

He added, “As a trust, we are committed to ensuring the best standards for all our young people and look forward to continuing this throughout the academic year and beyond.”

Condemned by Celebrities and Hunt Groups

The incendiary video racked up over two million views and drew condemnation from celebrities including Judy Murray, Russell Tovey, and John Bishop, who branded the actions “inexcusable.”

The Pony Club, where Moulds held a role, slammed the behaviour. “We wholeheartedly condemn this behaviour,” they said.

The Cottesmore Hunt themselves stated they “strongly disapprove of any such actions” and promised to “deal with it in an appropriate manner.”
