An early morning triple stabbing in Clapham has left one person dead and two others hospitalized. The attack occurred shortly after 4 a.m. today (Sunday, September 29) on Wandsworth Road, near the border of Clapham and Battersea. Emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of a violent incident involving multiple victims.
The London Ambulance Service confirmed that paramedics and an air ambulance were dispatched to the area. Our crews treated three people at the scene. Sadly, despite the best efforts of emergency services, one person died at the scene,” said a spokesperson for the ambulance service. One person was conveyed to a major trauma centre, and another was conveyed to hospital.

Wandsworth Road remains closed between Queenstown Road and Lambourn Road while forensic officers closely examine the area for evidence. The road closures are affecting traffic between Clapham Junction and Clapham Old Town, and three London bus routes have been diverted as a result.
