Detectives investigating the murder of 44-year-old Michelle Sadio in Brent are appealing for information about a black Kia used during the fatal shooting on Saturday, December 14.
The incident occurred at around 9:15 PM on Gifford Road, NW10, when suspects in the black Kia fired multiple shots. Michelle, along with two other individuals, was injured. Tragically, Michelle died at the scene despite the best efforts of emergency services.
The black Kia, described as a hybrid electric vehicle with distinctive alloys, was later driven to Barnhill Road, where it was abandoned and deliberately set alight. Detectives believe the vehicle could hold key clues in the investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Clarke, leading the investigation from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, urged the public to come forward:
“While we are making significant progress, we continue to appeal for anyone who witnessed this incident, and particularly anyone who has information about the black Kia, to please get in touch. Did you see it that night or in the days leading up to the shooting? Your information, no matter how small it may seem, could be crucial to our investigation.”
