Man Racially Abused Woman wearing a Hijab in Portsmouth Shop

Police would like to speak with a man in connection with a racially aggravated incident that ocurred in the Wilko store on Arundel Street in Portsmouth at around 11am on Thursday, June 2. The man reportedly used abusive language towards at a 28-year-old woman wearing a hijab. The man is described as: White Aged between late 30s to early 50s 5 feet 6 inches tall Long blonde / brown / grey hair in a ponytail Heavy build Local accent Do you recognise him? Police Staff Investigator Olivia Freeman from the Eastern Investigations Team said: “This is a report of racially aggravated harassment aimed at a young woman. This was unprovoked and unacceptable. The incident occurred in a public place, in front of other customers visiting the store that day. “Did you witness this incident? Do you recognise this man?
