Heartbreak on the A30: Two Teens Dead After Fatal Crash
Police have named the two teenagers who died in a tragic collision on the A30. Ella Alford, 18, from Pembroke Road, Basingstoke, was driving the Fiat 500 found abandoned just past the Hatch pub eastbound in the early hours of Wednesday, March 28.
Her passenger was 18-year-old Aimee, from Sheldons Road, Hook. Both families have paid emotional tributes.
Heartbroken Families Speak Out
Ella’s family said: “No words can express the sorrow and heartbreak we feel. Our beautiful, selfless daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece and cousin – kind, funny, with the biggest heart who always put others first. Her loss leaves a hole that can never be filled. Forever young, forever beautiful, forever in our hearts.”
Aimee’s family added: “Our beautiful Aimee, our angel with a unique, gifted soul who always had time and patience for anyone. Destined for great things but taken way too soon. She will be deeply missed and we are left completely bereft.”
Police Appeal for Witnesses
The fatal crash is believed to have happened around 10.35pm on Tuesday, March 27. Investigations into how the collision occurred are ongoing.
