Knife-Wielding Gang Robs Man on Reading Street
Thames Valley Police are hunting three men after a brazen robbery in Reading on the night of Thursday, 7 March. The attack happened between 9pm and 10pm on Blenheim Road.
Three Offenders Pounced Near London Road
A 20-year-old man was walking towards London Road when three men jumped out of a small white car, believed to be a Ford Fiesta. One brandished a knife and demanded cash.
The victim handed over money, and the gang sped off along Blenheim Road, then left onto London Road. Thankfully, the victim was not physically harmed but left shaken by the ordeal.
Police Describe Knife-Brandishing Gang
- Offender One: Asian male, mid-20s, slim, 5ft 9in, short black hair, wearing white hoody with hood down, carrying the knife.
- Offender Two: Asian male, mid-20s, slim, tall at 6ft 2in, short black hair.
- Offender Three: Asian male, mid-20s, slim, 5ft 9in, short black hair.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
PC Dennis Hicks from Reading police station said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident to come forward. In particular, I want to hear from drivers who may have dash cam footage of the robbery on Blenheim Road.”
