Man charged with Brighton stabbing

A man has been charged in connection with a stabbing in Brighton. Police are investigating a stabbing in Bevendean Crescent on Friday evening (July 26). Emergency services were called at 10pm to a fight at a property and two men had been stabbed. An 18-year-old man was treated for four serious stabs wounds and another, an 18-year-old man, had minor injuries. Two men were arrested. Finlay Apps, 18, unemployed, from St Peter’s Road, Portslade has been charged with GBH with intent. He has been remanded until August 27. Another man, a 28-year-old from Hove, was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and has been released under investigation.
