Kent and Essex Serious Crime officers have arrested a man following the shocking death of a man in Canterbury.
Man Found Dead in Castle Street Car Park
Kent Police were called to a car park on Castle Street at 1.44pm on Monday 10 April 2023. There, a man in his 50s was found dead. His death is being treated as suspicious.
27-Year-Old Arrested on Murder Suspicion
A 27-year-old man from Whitstable was arrested later that same day on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody while police continue their investigation.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Detectives want to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in Castle Street between Saturday 8 April and Monday 10 April. If you have information, report it via the Major Incident Public Portal at https://mipp.police.uk quoting reference 46/64809/23.
Officers are also keen to view any dashcam footage from the area that might help the inquiry.
