Fatal collision near Borstal, Rochester
Investigators are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision near Borstal, Rochester. The incident took place at around 5.30pm on Monday 29 July 2019 on Burham Road, and involved a silver Vauxhall Astra which collided with a hedgerow. The driver, a local man in his 80s, was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. Officers are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and are urging anyone who saw the car in the moments leading up to the collision, or who have dash cam footage from the area around the time, to contact them.
