Teen Charged with Murder of 20-Year-Old Ben Lines in Bexley

Detectives have charged a 16-year-old boy with the murder of 20-year-old Ben Lines following a deadly stabbing in Bexley. The fatal incident happened on Sunday, 13 October on Barnehurst Avenue.

Teen Held and Remanded in Custody

The 16-year-old faces charges of murder and causing actual bodily harm. He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Bromley Youth Court on Wednesday, 16 October.

Other Arrests Made but Released

  • A 16-year-old boy, initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, has been released with no further action.
  • A 17-year-old arrested in Dartford on Monday, 14 October, on suspicion of murder, has been released on bail pending court date later this month.
