Man in His 50s Found Dead in Reading Home
Early Thursday morning, around 4.55am, police were called to a house on Oxford Road, Reading. Officers discovered a man in his fifties had tragically died.
Investigation Continues as Post-Mortem Yields No Answers
The man’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers. A post-mortem conducted on 13th November came back inconclusive, leaving questions unanswered. Formal identification of the man is still pending, and the scene watch has now been lifted.
Police Treat Death as Unexplained; Three Suspects Released
Chief Inspector Dave Turton, Crime Manager for Reading, revealed the investigation is ongoing. He stated, “We continue to investigate the circumstances around this death which at this time is being treated as unexplained.”
“Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this difficult time.
“Further forensic work is needed to ascertain how this man died, which may take some time.”
Three men initially arrested have now been released under investigation.
