Woman Charged with Attempted Murder After Tunbridge Wells Stabbing
A woman has been charged following a serious stabbing in Tunbridge Wells.
Victim Airlifted to Hospital
Kent Police were called at 1.05pm on Friday 12 March after reports of a man stabbed at a property on Dudley Road. Emergency services, including the South East Coast Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene. The injured man was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening wounds. Thankfully, his condition has since improved and his injuries are no longer life-threatening.
Suspect Known to Victim
The suspect, a woman in her 30s known to the victim, was arrested nearby shortly after the attack. She was charged with attempted murder.
Court Appearance and Next Steps
The woman appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Monday 15 March and was remanded in custody. Her next hearing is set for 12 April at Maidstone Crown Court.
