Tragic Cleveleys Crash Claims Life of Beloved 89-Year-Old Woman
The family of 89-year-old Jean Holgate have paid a heartfelt tribute after she died in a nasty collision in Cleveleys on Monday morning.
Crash Details: Van and Car Collide on A585
The smash happened around 11:15am on the A585 Amounderness Way. A Nissan Micra, driven by Jean, was heading southbound when it turned right into Anchorsholme Lane. It collided with a Ford Transit van.
The van then veered off the road, clipping a 67-year-old pedestrian from Fleetwood before coming to a halt in some trees. Jean was rushed to Royal Preston Hospital but sadly passed away later that night.

The pedestrian suffered minor injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.
