Man Arrested Over Whitehall Assault on Journalist
Joseph Olswang, 38, from Upper Richmond Road West, Richmond, was arrested and charged with common assault today, 30 June. He is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 15 July.
Chase Near Richmond Terrace Sparks Investigation
The charge follows a troubling incident on 14 June, when a journalist was pursued near Richmond Terrace and Whitehall. Police swiftly acted to bring those responsible to justice.
Two Other Men Also Face Charges
- Martin Hockridge, 57, of Eastmoor Park, Harpenden, already charged under the Public Order Act, appeared in court on 29 June. His next hearing is set for 8 November.
- Christopher Aitken, 62, of Kellett Road, Brixton, is also charged and will appear in court on 22 July.
