Fatal Crash Near Sevenoaks: Witnesses Urgently Needed
A tragic collision has claimed the life of a 67-year-old man on the A224 London Road, Riverhead, near Sevenoaks.
Van Hits Pedestrian by Roundabout
On Friday 20 August 2021, just after 1pm, a white Ford Transit van travelling north collided with the pedestrian close to the Aisher Way roundabout.
Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service rushed to the scene, but sadly the man was pronounced dead at the spot.
Driver Arrested and Released Under Investigation
A 22-year-old Dartford man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has since been released under investigation as inquiries continue.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is calling on anyone who witnessed the crash or has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
