12-Year-Old Boy Assaulted in Cheetham Hill, Manchester
Just after 8am on Wednesday, 12 October 2022, Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a 12-year-old boy being assaulted on Cheetham Hill Road, Manchester.
Minor Head Injuries, Police Investigate
Emergency services rushed to the scene and took the boy to hospital with minor head injuries. GMP confirmed they are actively investigating the incident to catch those responsible.
Police Boost Patrols, Appeal for Witnesses
“We would like to reassure the local community that there will be additional high-visibility officers patrolling the Cheetham Hill area and supporting ongoing enquiries into this incident,” GMP said. “Officers are there to reassure and support the local community as well as keep the public safe. If anyone has any concerns, our officers will be happy to assist.”
