Police have launched an urgent appeal to find a 37-year-old woman who has gone missing from Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester.

Gemma Chick was last seen at around 7.20pm on Saturday, 22 August, at the hospital.

Police say they are concerned for her welfare and are asking members of the public to call immediately if they see her.

Gemma is described as white, around 5ft 6ins tall and of slim build, with long brown hair.

When she was last seen, she was wearing a black T-shirt and green cargo trousers, with a white jumper tied around her waist.

Police said the photograph being circulated as part of the appeal is currently the only image available of Gemma. Although it is not particularly clear, it shows the clothing she was wearing when she disappeared.

Officers are urging people in Winchester and surrounding areas to keep a lookout for her.

Anyone who sees Gemma, or believes they know where she is, should dial 999 immediately, quoting police reference 1911 of 22 August.

Please share this appeal to help bring Gemma home safely.
