Sibling Drug Gang Busted in Cumbria Cocaine Sting
Brothers Kieran, Dean, and Jackson Moore have been locked up alongside their sister Amber after a major Cumbria Police crackdown. The Serious and Organised Crime Unit snagged the family in a sting that exposed their cocaine and ecstasy dealings.
Cocaine Conspiracy and Ecstasy Charges
The trio of brothers pled guilty to conspiring to supply cocaine at Carlisle Crown Court. Meanwhile, Amber admitted to possessing ecstasy and handling criminal cash. Their convictions mark another victory in the county’s ongoing battle against organised crime.
Operation Alliance Nails Another Crime Gang
The arrests came after officers uncovered a stash of cocaine near Northside, Workington, in May last year. Over several days, Kieran and Jackson were spotted visiting the spot, retrieving knotted bags of the drug.
A search warrant at a Mitchell Avenue address revealed Dean and Kieran Moore in the kitchen, where police found a large block of cocaine on the hob, more drugs in the kitchen, and cocaine hidden in a pair of wellies outside.
In July, a further search at Amber’s home in Hillcrest uncovered £16,000 in cash and a stash of MDMA tablets.
Detective Inspires Public to Join the Fight
“The hard work of our detectives pulled together an investigation that has once again put an organised crime group before a court and dismantled their operation,” said Detective Inspector Duncan Brooker.
“Our officers work all year round to protect Cumbria against serious and organised crime such as this – and this is just the latest group to face prosecution.”
“This work is carried out under the banner of Operation Alliance, and it will continue. But we need the public to help by reporting anything suspicious in their communities.”
