Three Sought in Hunt for Murdered 10-Year-Old Sara Sharif

Surrey Police are on a global manhunt for three suspects linked to the shocking murder of 10-year-old Sara Sharif. The trio – father Urfan Sharif, 41, his partner Beinash Batool, 29, and Sara’s uncle Faisal Shahzad Malik, 28 – vanished days after Sara’s body was found.

Body Found in Woking; Family Flees to Pakistan

Police discovered Sara’s body at a Woking home on August 10, triggering an urgent investigation. Just one day earlier, Urfan, Beinash, Faisal, and five children aged 1 to 13 are believed to have jetted off to Pakistan, escaping the UK amid unfolding tragedy.

Brutal Injuries Reveal Prolonged Abuse

DNA tests confirmed the grim identification of Sara. A post-mortem revealed “multiple and extensive injuries” pointing to long-term abuse. The exact cause of death remains under investigation as police await further test results.

“Urfan Sharif’s emergency call from Islamabad on August 10, worried for his daughter’s safety, adds a baffling twist,” a source said.

Flights and Passports: A Clue to Their Escape

Records show Urfan booked eight plane tickets totaling around £5,100, covering three adults and five children. Travel agent Nadeem Riaz described the booking as “normal” with no early warning signs.

Urfan and Faisal travelled on Pakistani passports, while Beinash and the children entered Pakistan using Pakistani NICOP cards, allowing visa-free travel. The lack of a UK-Pakistan extradition treaty makes capturing them more challenging.

Community in Mourning as Search Intensifies

Police remain stationed at the Hammond Road property in Horsell near Woking town centre. The neighbourhood and nation mourn Sara’s devastating loss, leaving flowers and heartfelt tributes at the scene. Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward and help bring justice for the young girl.
