Man in His 20s Hospitalised After Brutal Late-Night Attack on Ferndale Road
Unprovoked Punch Leaves Victim with Life-Changing Injuries
Just after midnight on Saturday, December 3, police rushed to Ferndale Road, SW9, following a violent assault. A man in his twenties was found injured outside a restaurant where he worked. He was rushed to hospital with a serious head injury that is expected to have life-altering effects.
Attack Caught on CCTV
The victim had been working inside the restaurant on the evening of Friday, December 2. At around 11.10pm, two men approached him. Suddenly, one punched him in the face, sending him crashing to the pavement and hitting his head. The attack appears totally unprovoked. The two suspects then fled towards Nursery Road.
Police Appeal for Help to Identify Suspects
Officers from the local policing team have been scouring CCTV footage and launched enquiries to track the two men. They’ve now released an image of one of the suspects, seeking the public’s help to identify him.
