Nightmare on Lordship Lane: Woman Assaulted Twice in One Horrific Bus Journey
In the early hours of Saturday, 23 July, a woman in her 20s was brutally sexually assaulted not once, but twice in Dulwich Village.
Horror at Bus Stop and Onboard Number 12
The attack first happened around 2am at a bus stop on Lordship Lane. The same man followed the woman onto a number 12 bus and struck again during the ride. She bravely reported the ordeal to police the very next day.
Police Hunt Suspect Caught on CCTV
Investigators have launched an urgent appeal for help to find the attacker. CCTV footage captured a man boarding the bus, described as:
- Black
- About 5ft 8in tall
- Afro hairstyle
- Wearing a dark hoodie with rainbow-coloured writing on the front
