Teen Stabbed in Ilford Knife Horror
A crime scene has erupted in Ilford after a teen was stabbed multiple times in the early hours of Sunday.
Road Shut After Brutal Early Morning Attack
Police and paramedics swarmed Hamilton Road at the junction with Ilford Lane just after 2.20am on December 4. Witnesses saw an ambulance incident manager shining a torch as paramedics battled to save the injured 17-year-old found collapsed in the street.
Six police vehicles blocked the area, turning Hamilton Road into a lockdown zone. The road is closed both ways and expected to stay shut for some time.
Buses Stranded, Investigation Underway
Several buses, including services 169 and EL1, were stuck or diverted due to the closure. The Met Police confirmed the stabbing occurred near St Luke’s Avenue and Wingate Road, with officers arriving swiftly after reports of a fight.
A Met Police spokesman said:
“Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a stabbing in Ilford. A 17-year-old male was taken to hospital with stab injuries. His condition is still being assessed. No arrests have been made at this stage. Forensic teams are examining the scene, and cordons remain in place.”
