Hove Horror: Man Jailed for Stalking and Assaulting Women with Fake Fitness Tips
A 59-year-old man from Hove has been locked up after terrifying women with a chilling spree of public sexual assaults.

Derrahi targeted lone women out jogging or walking. He approached them with false fitness, breathing, or well-being tips.
His usual tactic? Complimenting their “energy” or physical shape — then making unwanted sexual advances.
On multiple occasions, he pretended to demonstrate stretches or movements — using this as a cover to grope his victims.
Clear Pattern of Abuse Uncovered by Police
Lewes Crown Court revealed Derrahi’s attacks followed a sinister, repeated pattern over the years, leaving victims traumatised.
After several women bravely stepped forward, Sussex Police connected the dots, arrested Derrahi, and he soon confessed to all charges.

Officers urged anyone affected by similar assaults to report them, promising every complaint will be taken seriously and fully investigated.
