Ambulance Chaos on Ledbury Road

Emergency services descended on Ledbury Road, Ross on Wye just after 3pm today following a serious collision between a pedestrian and a minibus.

Massive Medical Response

The rescue effort was intense. Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, a community first responder, and a Mercia Accident Rescue Service (MARS) BASICS doctor scrambled to the scene. They were backed by the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham, carrying two critical care paramedics, plus the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity helicopter with a medic on board.

Life-Saving Action on Scene

On arrival, crews found a woman pedestrian in critical condition, initially treated by bystanders. West Midlands Ambulance Service confirmed: “The ambulance crew worked swiftly to deliver advanced trauma care and stabilise her before airlifting her to Southmead Hospital in Bristol for specialist treatment.”
