Helicopter Crash in Türkiye Kills Four Healthcare Workers
A Eurocopter EC135 helicopter crashed into a hospital in Muğla, southwestern Türkiye, killing all four onboard. The aircraft hit the hospital during takeoff in thick fog before crashing into the courtyard.

The helicopter, based at Muğla Training and Research Hospital, was grounded the day before due to bad weather. It tried to take off for Antalya the next morning but flew into dense fog shortly after liftoff. Poor visibility caused the crash into the hospital building and courtyard.

The Ministry of Health confirmed the deceased included two pilots, a doctor, and a healthcare worker. Health Minister Fahrettin Koca mourned the loss, saying:
“We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss. Our hearts go out to the families of the victims and their loved ones. We will provide them with all necessary support during this difficult time.”
