Matt Hancock Launches His Own Cheese Brand – And It’s Proper Cheesy!

Just when you thought Matt Hancock couldn’t get any more cringe, the former MP has gone full dairy entrepreneur. He’s hired a London ad agency to help launch Matt Hancock’s Cheddar – his very own cheese brand.

Mature, Tangy & Very British

The cheese promises to be “mature, tangy and quintessentially British,” clearly aiming to cash in on Hancock’s infamous jungle reality TV fame. But the big question remains: are Brits ready to find Hancock lurking in their fridge?

“Cheese for the People”

Independent creative agency isobel crafted the quirky brand, featuring Hancock’s own mug and the strapline “Cheese for the people.”

A spokesperson from isobel explained the strange branding choice: “One of Hancock’s primary aims is to ‘normalise politicians’ and make them more relatable. Everyone loves cheese, so why not create a cheese brand for the people?”

Launching April Fool’s Day – Not A Joke?

The cheese hits shelves nationwide this Saturday, April 1st, backed by a slick print, social media, and out-of-home ad blitz also created by isobel.

Whether it’s a comedy stunt or a serious bid to corner the cheese market, one thing’s for sure – this brand is bound to get tongues wagging. You’d be a fool not to try it…
