Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a news conference today in Tel Aviv, addressing the ongoing conflict on his country’s northern front. Israel has been engaged in a series of intense exchanges of fire with the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah along the border. Prime Minister Netanyahu emphasised that Israel is “fully prepared” to handle any situation on its northern front.
During the news conference, Netanyahu issued a stern warning to Hezbollah, stating that engaging in war with Israel would be a “fatal mistake” that would ultimately determine the fate of Lebanon. He stressed that Israel’s only objective is to emerge victorious in the conflict with Hamas and will not stop until its mission is accomplished. Netanyahu asserted that Hamas has “lost its grip” on Gaza, leaving them with “no place to hide.”
