Hit-and-Run Horror in Eastfield Street! Two pedestrians were hit by a car on Saturday night (14 June) in Eastfield Street, E14. Police urgently want witnesses to come forward.
Emergency Rush to the Scene
At around 10pm, the Met Police, London Ambulance Service, and Fire Brigade scrambled to a serious collision involving a car and two people on foot.
The victims were treated on-site before being rushed to hospital. Luckily, their injuries are serious but not life-threatening or life-changing.
Driver Ditches Car and Runs
The motorist behind the crash didn’t stop. Instead, they fled the scene on foot. Cops are scrambling to track down the hit-and-run driver ASAP.
“Around 22:00hrs on Saturday, 14 June, officers attended Eastfield Street, E14, following reports of a collision involving a car and two pedestrians. Both individuals were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. Their injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing. The driver of the vehicle left the scene on foot. Officers are making urgent enquiries to locate him.”

Detectives are begging locals in Poplar and Canary Wharf to check their CCTV and dashcams for anything suspicious around 10pm on 14 June.
