Tragic Stabbing in Upper Church Road Claims Life of Dominic Wilson

Police found 43-year-old Dominic Wilson seriously wounded on Upper Church Road on Monday morning (27 November). Despite desperate efforts by officers and paramedics, Dominic sadly died at the scene. A post-mortem confirmed he died from a stab wound.

Family Mourns ‘Bubbly’ Father

Dominic’s family released a heartfelt tribute, describing him as “a loving father who always enjoyed life to the full.” They added, “His bubbly character will live on, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.”

The family has asked for privacy and is being supported by specially trained liaison officers.

Four Arrested in Ongoing Murder Inquiry

As the murder investigation continues, police arrested four more suspects on 28 November.

  • A 39-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of murder.
  • A 45-year-old man and a 54-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

All remain in police custody. Two other men arrested on Monday have been released without charge.

Police Urge Public to Come Forward

“This was a shocking attack that cost a man his life,” said DCI Simon Dewfall of the Major Crime Investigation Team. “Our thoughts are with Dominic’s family during this incredibly difficult time. We are committed to uncovering the full circumstances behind his death.”
