A stabbing incident in Southbury Road, near the entrance of Bush Hill Park, has led to the arrest of four individuals by the Metropolitan Police. The incident occurred on the evening of Saturday, 20 January, prompting a rapid response from the Met Police
At approximately 9.54pm, officers were summoned to the scene following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they discovered a 15-year-old boy who had sustained a serious chest injury as a result of the attack. Quick-thinking officers immediately provided first aid before the victim was transported to a hospital for further medical attention. The young victim remains in a life-threatening condition, and his family has been informed of the incident.
Detective Sergeant Steve Ferguson, part of the local policing team in Enfield, has emphasized the seriousness of the situation. He stated, “A teenage boy has been left seriously injured, and an investigation is underway to track down those responsible. Four people, comprising two men and two male youths, have been arrested and are currently in police custody.”
In addition to the arrests, law enforcement has taken proactive measures to gather evidence, including the retrieval of CCTV footage from the vicinity and conducting a forensic examination of the scene. Authorities are also seeking assistance from anyone who may have been present in the area at the time of the incident and witnessed any suspicious activity.
