Breakthrough in 2022 Murder Case
Detectives have charged a suspect over the murder of 43-year-old Koray Alpergin, whose body was found near Oakwood Hill Industrial Estate in Loughton last October.
Man Charged After Year-Long Probe
Koray was discovered dead on October 15, 2022, by Essex Police, who pronounced him dead at the scene. After a thorough investigation, 20-year-old Dylan Weatherley, of no fixed address, has been charged with Koray’s murder.
Weatherley is set to appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court on March 14.

Weatherley is not only facing murder charges but also accusations of kidnapping and false imprisonment involving Koray and a 33-year-old woman.
