Police have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a series of indecent exposure incidents reported in the Southsea area, which have caused concern in the local community.
The incidents occurred over two days in mid-September. On 12 September, between 7 am and 7:15 am, a man exposed himself to two women in separate incidents. The first took place on Devonshire Avenue, where a man approached a woman in her 30s. Shortly afterward, a similar incident occurred on St Augustine Road, involving another woman, also in her 30s.
A third incident was reported on 14 September, when a man exposed himself to a woman in her 40s on Eastern Parade at around 9 am.
As part of their ongoing investigation, police have now released an image of a man they are keen to question. He is described as a white male with a tanned complexion, thought to be in his 40s, with a slim build, standing about 5ft 8in tall, and wearing a beanie hat during the incidents.
Police are urging anyone who recognises the man or has information about his identity or whereabouts to come forward. Those with information are asked to contact the police on 101, quoting reference 44240393146.
Authorities have reassured the public that they are conducting thorough investigations to ensure the safety of the community. Local officers remain available to support anyone affected by the incidents and encourage people to come forward with any additional information.
