A spate of vandalism hit Larkfield last night, with multiple vehicles and properties descending into chaos. Unknown offenders smashed floodlights at Larkfield & New Hythe Football Club and damaged several cars. Some vehicles suffered attacks from objects apparently launched by a catapult. The most alarming incident saw a rock dropped from Lunsford Lane bridge, smashing the roof of a car driving on the M20 motorway.

Kent Police Step Up Patrols, Seek Witnesses and Footage
Kent Police have launched an active investigation and are urging anyone with information to come forward. They’re especially keen to see any dashcam or CCTV footage from the Lunsford Lane bridge, where the rock-throwing happened.
“We’re asking the public to help us catch those responsible and keep our community safe,” said a Kent Police spokesperson.
