A 17-year-old has been charged with two counts of attempted robbery and assault after making a double threat at a shop in Broadway, Sheerness, on Tuesday, 10 December 2024.

The teen entered the store twice the same day, demanding cash from the till. Both times, shop workers and customers stood their ground, forcing him to flee empty-handed.
Kent Police Nab Suspect Fast
Officers were called after the second scare and swiftly tracked down the suspect at a nearby address. The youth was arrested and charged, appearing before Medway Magistrates’ Court two days later.
