Prompt Arrests and Recovery of Stolen Motorbike in Faversham

Officers in Swale swiftly arrested two suspects and recovered a stolen motorbike within two hours of its theft, thanks to a vehicle tracker.

The incident unfolded on Tuesday, 17 December 2024, when patrols from the Rural Task Force were alerted to the tracker on the motorbike, which had been stolen from Sussex earlier that evening.

Recovery and Arrests

At approximately 9:30 PM, an officer located the stolen motorbike in the rear of a van on Whiting Crescent, Faversham. During the recovery, a knife was also seized from the scene.

Two local men, aged 21 and 45, were arrested at the location. A third suspect fled the scene on foot.

Further investigation led to the arrest of another suspect, a 26-year-old man from Maidstone, two days later.

Ongoing Investigation

All three suspects have been conditionally bailed while officers continue their enquiries into the incident.
