Stolen Bike Tracked Down in Just Two Hours
Police in Swale wasted no time snapping up crooks who nicked a motorbike from Sussex. Thanks to a high-tech vehicle tracker, officers from the Rural Task Force were hot on the trail after the bike was stolen on Tuesday, 17 December 2024.
Whiting Crescent Sting Sees Two Arrested
At around 9:30 PM, cops caught the bike tucked away in the back of a van on Whiting Crescent, Faversham. Alongside the bike, they also unearthed a knife, ramping up the charges. Two local men, aged 21 and 45, were snapped up on the spot. Another suspect made a run for it but didn’t get far.
Third Suspect Nabbed in Maidstone
Not long after, police tracked down a 26-year-old man from Maidstone and arrested him too, rounding off their operation.
Case Still Open as Suspects Await Bail
All three have been slapped with conditional bail while detectives dig deeper into the theft. The investigation is very much ongoing.
