The smash happened just after 10pm on Wednesday. South Central Ambulance Service dispatched two ambulances, a rapid response paramedic, and a specialist HART team after initial reports suggested the driver was trapped inside the car.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue sent two fire appliances from Gosport and Fareham, plus a specialist rescue support unit from Cosham. Police sealed off Nobes Avenue at the Brewers Lane junction while crews made the vehicle safe and righted it off its side.

People use it as a race track – at night it’s either cars or mopeds. Someone will be killed or seriously injured one day.”
