Blaze Breaks Out in Dartford Shed, Spreads to Home
Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) raced to a shed fire on Littebrook Manor Way in Dartford on Thursday, April 3, 2025. The flames quickly jumped from the shed to the rear reception room of a nearby house, sparking a major emergency response.
Firefighters Battle Blaze With Three Engines
At around 1:45pm, three fire engines arrived on scene. Crews, armed with breathing apparatus and powerful high-pressure hose reel jets, fought fiercely to contain the fire. The KFRS Volunteer Response Team also turned out to support affected residents.
No Injuries as Fire Brought Under Control
Luckily, no injuries were reported. Quick action by firefighters stopped the fire from raging further into the home or nearby properties. Firefighters stayed on site for over an hour to fully extinguish the blaze and secure the area.
Investigation Underway; Community Urged to Stay Vigilant
The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation. KFRS has urged locals to keep sheds and outbuildings well-maintained and free of fire risks. They remind residents to store flammable items safely and keep sheds secure to avoid accidental or deliberate fires.
