Two Teens Killed in Salford Motorbike Crash
Greater Manchester Police have launched a serious appeal after a tragic crash in Salford claimed the lives of two teenage motorcyclists.
Deadly Collision on Lower Broughton Road
The fatal smash happened at around 8:20pm on Thursday, May 22, 2025. A motorbike carrying two teenage boys collided with a silver Vauxhall Viva as the car turned onto Clarence Street from Lower Broughton Road.
Despite emergency services rushing to the scene, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old were both later pronounced dead in hospital. Specialist officers are supporting the devastated families while the investigation continues.
“This is a deeply tragic incident and we are working to establish the full circumstances,” said a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson.
Driver Cooperating, No Arrests Yet
The 24-year-old woman behind the wheel of the Vauxhall stayed at the scene and is fully cooperating with detectives. So far, no arrests have been made.
