Man Found Guilty of Gruesome Double Murder After Suitcases of Dismembered Bodies Found

A chilling case has shocked London and Bristol after a man was convicted for murdering two men and transporting their dismembered bodies in suitcases. Detectives called it “one of the most disturbing” crimes they have ever investigated.

Suitcases of Horror Discovered in West London

Yostin Andres Mosquera, 35, from Scotts Road, Shepherd’s Bush, was found guilty at Woolwich Crown Court on Monday 21 July of murdering Paul Longworth, 71, and Albert Alfonso, 62. The victims were found at their shared home on 8 July 2024.

The grisly discovery began when officers spotted suitcases containing human remains being moved from Shepherd’s Bush to Bristol. Further investigation revealed decapitated heads stored inside a freezer at the victims’ home.

“This was a brutal, callous crime,” said lead detective Ollie Stride. “We have never faced anything quite like this.”

Dark Relationship Ends in Tragedy

Mosquera and one of the victims had developed a personal connection that tragically turned fatal. Mosquera admitted to killing Albert Alfonso but denied killing Paul Longworth at a hearing in October 2025.

Despite his denial, Mosquera remains in custody as police continue to piece together the full extent of the horrifying murders.

Ongoing Investigation and Legal Proceedings

  • Mosquera’s arrest occurred shortly after the murders in July 2024.
  • Human remains found led to a major police investigation across London and Bristol.
  • Digital forensics and recovered evidence continue to play a key role.

As this chilling case develops, questions remain about the motive and the full story behind the brutal killings.
