Police Hunt Woman Over Brutal Huddersfield Pub Attack
Shocking scenes in a Huddersfield pub saw a 79-year-old man viciously attacked and robbed of his mobile phone. West Yorkshire Police have urgently released CCTV images of a woman they want to question in connection with the violent assault.
Elderly Victim Struck with Glass During Attack
The horrific incident happened on Tuesday afternoon, April 3. Although the exact pub remains unnamed, the victim suffered injuries after being hit with a glass, leaving him traumatised and in pain.
Kirklees CID Takes Charge, Appeals for Help
Kirklees District CID is leading the investigation, determined to catch the culprit and support the victim and his family. A police spokesperson said: “We have released images of a woman we want to identify in relation to this robbery where an elderly man was hurt.”
Public Urged to Come Forward
Police are pleading with the public to help track down the suspect. Anyone who recognises the woman in the released images or has information about the attack is urged to call West Yorkshire Police on 101. Alternatively, reports can be made anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
