Five-Year-Old Plunges from Height in Dagenham – Rushed to Hospital

Emergency services scrambled to Church Elm Lane, Dagenham, this afternoon after a terrifying fall involving a five-year-old boy. The youngster fell from a significant height, prompting a huge response.

Rapid Rescue Mission

The London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called at 2:31pm and immediately dispatched multiple units, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer, a paramedic in a fast response car, and London’s Air Ambulance.

“Our first paramedic arrived in less than five minutes. We treated a child at the scene and took them to a major trauma centre by road,” an LAS spokesperson confirmed.

Police Step In as Investigation Begins

The Metropolitan Police were alerted at 2:32pm and joined ambulance crews at the scene. They confirmed the boy was transported to hospital for urgent treatment.

“There have been no arrests. Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing,” said a Met Police spokesperson.

Relief for Family as Boy’s Injuries Are Not Life-Threatening

Thankfully, the young boy’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the fall.
